Kia has revealed the 2014 Optima at the New York Auto Show with cosmetic and technical tweaks. Due in the UK early 2014. The new Optima isn’t exactly new, but a facelift rather than a comprehensive workover.
BRITISH race and rally specialist Prodrive is celebrating 30 years of putting drivers on the top step of the podium. The Banbury-based company first entered motorsport in January 1984 when it competed in the Qatar International Rally with a Porsche 911 SC RS. This car was driven by Saeed Al Hajri and the same car went on to be campaigned by Henri Toivenen in the European Rally Championship.

Lamborghini will expand its Ad Personam personalization range at the Detroit Motor Show. The Italian supercar maker claims to have drawn on inspiration from the fashion world in order to create the latest interior and exterior colours. The Gallardo Spyder (centre) is painted in Marrone Apus, a colour Lambo describes as ‘halfway between brown and black’, but there is a golden reflection due to a special pigment in the paint.
